Is it considered rude to call someone a "Toothless Pirate" if they are missing teeth ?

as someone who is missing 2 teeth. I am SOOO self aware of this and hate to smile becuase of it or sing anymore becuase of it. I wish i had money to fix it but i dont. if someone called me that I would be very hurt.

Is it considered rude to call someone a "Toothless Pirate" if they are missing teeth ?
Not if they are an actual pirate.
Reply:HA!...matey...AARRRRG !
Reply:It depends in the tone of voice and why you are saying this to a person. If it is in a playful way, it could even be funny. It is the intention of your sentence that can be rude or not.
Reply:yeah, but it is still pretty funny
Reply:Easier to say, "summer teeth"....... They wont feel offended unless they undestand it....

Summ'er there....

summ'er gone.......

Reply:It's not only rude, it's cruel. There are a lot of people who cannot afford health care or dental care. They realize that people are judging them and it's painful.Just because they are missing teeth doesn't mean they don't care about themselves. Instead of being so mean and trying to impress people with your cruelty, try being more compassionate. Always keep in mind that one day it may be you. Hopefully you'll never have that happen.
Reply:i guess not.
Reply:Only if they aren't pirates as well.
Reply:call the wrong person that and u could be missing a tooth are two
Reply:yes Its very rude, some people cant afford dental care. instead of looking down on someone and hurting their feelings, just felly lucky that you have dental insurance (if you do)
Reply:yea... who would want to make someone feel that bad about themself? - its not like they can help it
Reply:doesnt sound that rude to me
Reply:Yes, rude and insensitive. If you really don't already know the answer to this you are extremely immature
Reply:Why no, that would be perfectly acceptable.
