He is 19 years old and I am 16 years old.


He punched me with brass knuckles.


I did not hit him back.

Assault probably, but it would be best to talk to the police or a lawyer about your options.

this similarly happened with my boyfriend he got punched in the face but didnt hit back he took it.





You are usually given the choice of a cop talkin to him first or talking and arresting him.....then you go to court.......it all depends on the circumstances.....

Reply:Are you that guy that wrote in saying that you were about to get into a fight with a guy twice your size? Bad luck dude. Yeah, you can go to the cops. Since he's over 18 he could spend a little time in jail. Assault, assault with a deadly weapon, that sort of thing.

If you did, Assault and Battery, possibly Aggravated Assault since he used a weapon.





You can sue for actual damages and punitive. See a lawyer like yesterday.
Reply:There are a few crimainal charges he could be nail with. You also have a civil case. Somebody must pay for your teeth. However the longer you wait to call the police the weaker your case gets.

Reply:That is up to the DA, all you would have done is call the police as soon as it happened, if you did not call the police when it happened, often the longer you wait, the less seriouis the police take the reort
