They have been missing for 4.5 months.

It's normal at this age to loose the baby teeth and eventually grow new ones. It takes time and all kids grow at different rates. Make sure your child is brushing and going to routine dentist appts.
Reply:My son is also 6 and lost his two fron teeth and had new ones it seems like within a month. It was relatively quickly. You may want to take him/her to the dentist. My son's teeth have changed quite a bit. Where he used to have a gap between his teeth he doesn't anymore. i would question whether or not your child would need a spacer...
