My cat is missing a tooth. She is 2 years old.?

A few months ago I noticed on one side of her mouth, her lip would stick to her gums. I thought it was cute. But being curious I looked at her teeth and she is missing one upper fang. Her gums don't look infected or like there is anything wrong, just the missing tooth. My question is could she still be getting her adult teeth in. She was the runt of the litter. She is still very small. Do you think it is just taking longer for she to get her teeth in?

I am sure at 2 yrs of age it is an adult tooth which can be broken off from an injury.

Teeth are very porous and subject to infection if they are cracked or broken off. The tooth root is still present and needs to be totally removed to prevent further problems.
Reply:Did it win the fight ?
Reply:sometimes a tooth comes up missing after a fight but I do not know if that is possible in this situation because you did not mention other animals. I don't believe this has anything to do with being the runt. Somehow she just lost a tooth. Check her for peridontal disease. It is also good to brush your cats teeth for prevention. You can buy the kits at a pet store such as Pet Supplies Plus for about $10
Reply:My cat from the sheltor has half a fang on his top left..He is a cool cat..not sure if that tooth will grow back..it may not..good luck..and if it dosn't it will give her character
