Are You Missing Any Teeth?

I am missing 4 teeth due to an accident, but I wear a partial so nobody really notices. What do you do and how many teeth are you missing? Just curious. Thanx.

I lost 3 in a car accident. I wore a flipper (I believe the same thing as a partial) for a couple of years and I hated that damn thing. After a few years of gum and jaw bone work, I was finally able to get implants. Implants beat the hell out of a flipper. Every once in a while that flipper would pop out in mid sentence and create horrible embarrassment. Not to mention horribly uncomfortable and a hassle to keep clean.

Reply:I lost all my teeth this year, I had no calium or bulk in my teeth no matter what I did they just broke off so now I have a whole new set with very straight teeth that won't break.
Reply:I'm missing my 2nd incisors. The adult ones never came in and the dentist told me not to pull the baby ones. so really The baby canines stayed in and the adult canines are sitting next to the 2 middle incisors. then the baby canines got too old and came out and now I have baby sized partials to fill the space. More than you wanted to know?
Reply:I have no back teeth. I had them filled, then they started up again. I decided I did not want root canals, so I told them to pull them. This was done at different times.

Yes I wear a partial too, i am missing 4 teeth actually upper molars 2 on each side, nothing wrong in wearing a partial that shows that you care enough to do some thing for your self- I know dental procedures are very expensive- and a bridge or implants are great if you have the money, I've worn my partial for over 10 years,and no-one knows, sometimes accidents or injuries happen and I know lots of people who wear partials replacing the front and back teeth especially in sports that's where a lot of teeth end up missing.
Reply:I'm missing all of my teeth and I have been since I was 14. The enamel was missing and they started to fall apart really quick so I had them all pulled out. I have dentures but I usually left them out. They don't fit anymore so I just go gummy which my bf kinda likes acutally.
Reply:I am missing 2, my 1st top premolar on each side. They where taken out when I was a kid as I had to wear a brace but the gaps never closed fully.
